Delivered by The Power BI Coach, a specialist practice in Canada, under partnership with IT Partner. Discovery, design, build and training — including the official Microsoft PL-300 course — with the licensing and the relationship held by us. The division of labour is stated on every quote.
Power BI work on this site is delivered by The Power BI Coach, a specialist practice in Canada, under a partnership with IT Partner. They build the models and reports and run the training; we hold the Power BI licensing and the relationship, and the arrangement is stated on every quote. This is the first service in our delivered-with-partners group, and the model is deliberate: we would rather name a specialist than pretend the skill is in-house.
What they do is the whole Power BI lifecycle: connecting the sources, shaping the data in Power Query, building the semantic model and the DAX, designing the reports, securing them with row-level access, and training the people who will maintain them. Training includes the official instructor-led Microsoft PL-300 Power BI Data Analyst course as well as programmes built around your own data.
What it is not: a data-warehouse project, a Fabric or Synapse build, or an AI programme. Where a Power BI engagement uncovers one of those, you hear it during discovery.
Timings are the partner’s standard delivery; your quote states the schedule for your scope.
Business objectives, the questions to answer, the sources, and current reporting. KPIs defined and success criteria written down. This is where scope is decided and where most Power BI projects go wrong when it is skipped.
Solution architecture across every source, refresh and security model, governance decisions, and a report mock-up you validate before anything is built.
Power Query transformations, the semantic model and DAX, the reports. Standard delivery is two to four weeks depending on the number of reports and the state of the sources.
Three to five business days, online or on site, on your own data. PL-300 as the official track, or a custom programme.
Performance tuning on real usage, and support with a one-hour response in business hours, eight hours outside.
Three parties, so the split is written down.

Yes. Training includes the official instructor-led Microsoft PL-300 Power BI Data Analyst course, as well as customisable programmes from beginner to advanced built on your own data.
Yes. Embedded analytics incorporates fully interactive reports into your applications, so you are not building visualisations from the ground up. It is scoped as part of the design phase.
$185 per hour, quoted as a fixed price per project once discovery has set the scope. Training is priced per session. Power BI licences are supplied separately by IT Partner, right-sized to builders versus readers.
Two to four weeks as a standard, depending on the number of reports and the state of the source data. Training runs three to five business days.
SQL databases, Azure services, on-premises data warehouses, and third-party applications such as Salesforce and Google Analytics, among others, with scheduled refresh so reports stay current without manual exports.
Remotely for clients in Canada, the United States, Europe and the Gulf; on-site in Canada. The partner works Eastern hours, so European and Gulf clients get afternoon and evening overlap. US clients are contracted through our headquarters at o365hq.com; everyone else through the entity for their country.
The configuration includes role-based access, row-level security, and data masking for sensitive fields, with sharing kept inside the organisation. It can be aligned to GDPR or HIPAA requirements; certification of your environment is a separate exercise.
One quote, two parties, no handover gap
The questions, the sources, roughly how many people will build and how many will read. You get back a scope, a fixed price, and the right number of licences — from one contact, whichever side does the work.
