Microsoft licensing in Canada

A Microsoft invoice in Canadian dollars, with the tax your province expects

Most Canadian companies that reach us have been buying Microsoft through a US reseller and reconciling exchange rates and missing tax lines every month, or through a local dealer who resells licences and nothing else. We hold Microsoft’s Canadian authorisation, invoice from Vancouver in Canadian dollars, and the people who sell you the licence are the people who merge your tenants and move your mail.

01 — What people come for

Not the licence — what the licence is for

Merging or splitting after a deal

Two Canadian companies become one, or a division is carved out: mailboxes, files, Teams and identities move without a day offline, and the subscriptions follow.

Tenant consolidation

Off Google Workspace, onto Microsoft 365

Mail, Drive and calendars moved with the sharing model decided rather than inherited, and the licences invoiced in CAD from the first month.

Google Workspace migration

Devices and identities under control

Intune, Entra ID and Conditional Access rolled out in an order that does not lock anyone out, for laptops that never come back to an office.

Support with response times in writing

A plan with a first response in four business hours, in Pacific and Eastern time, from the engineers who know your tenant.

02 — The invoice

A local invoice, done right

Invoiced from Vancouver, in CAD

Microsoft prices Canada in Canadian dollars and so do we. No exchange-rate line, no US-dollar surprise when the card statement arrives.

GST, HST and PST, by province

The invoice carries the tax your province requires and nothing else: HST in Ontario and the Atlantic provinces, GST plus PST in British Columbia, GST alone in Alberta.

A Canadian number and Canadian hours

Calls to +1 778 627 3147 are answered in Vancouver. Working hours overlap with our European engineers from early morning Eastern time.

The same engineering team

The licence is the smallest part of what we do. Migrations, consolidations and support are delivered by the same team that serves our European customers.

03 — Prices

Microsoft’s Canada list price, in CAD

A few of the lines people ask about first, at Microsoft’s list price for Canada from the price list dated 2026-09-20. Our price to you is lower and is confirmed on a pro-forma invoice. Every line Microsoft sells in the region — 1,296 subscriptions and 264 software licences — is in the full list, with the region already selected.

05 — Questions

Asked before the first invoice

Do you charge HST on every invoice?

We charge the tax your province requires: HST where it applies, GST and PST in British Columbia, GST alone in Alberta. A registered business claims it back as usual.

Can you invoice in US dollars instead?

Yes, on request, but there is rarely a reason to: Microsoft sets a Canadian price list in CAD, and an invoice in another currency only adds an exchange-rate line.

We already buy Microsoft 365 from someone else. Can you take it over?

Yes. Moving subscriptions to a new partner is a Microsoft process that keeps every licence and every mailbox in place; nothing is reinstalled. It takes a few days, and we do it for free.

Who does the work if we need a migration?

Our own engineers, across Canada and Europe. We do not subcontract migrations, and we will say plainly when a project is a poor fit for the time zones involved.

Tell us what you have and what is bothering you

A written scope, a sequence and a price in CAD, usually within one business day. Nobody rings you unless you ask.
